Si vives en NY un tiempo determinado, o tienes la suerte de visitarlo mas de 1 vez, rápido te das cuenta que LOCACION es prioridad en la gran ciudad ... En Manhattan, créeme, que lo que menos quieres es abrir una ventana y toparte con la ventana o la pared de algún vecino, por lo tanto necesitas una buena LOCACION. Si estas en moda, como miles y miles de personas en la ciudad, y tu trabajo es generar fotos , en este caso la ciudad entera es un punto de LOCACION, ya sea una pared despintada, cruzando alguna avenida como Park Avenue o la Quinta Avenida, algún barrio pintoresco como el WEST VILLAGE , levantando una mano para que algún taxista tenga la gentileza de parar a tu alcance o alguna infinita terraza que te hace sentir la adrenalina de lo alto sin estar en un avión,

Location - Location - Location : If you live in NY for a while or you get lucky enough to visit it more than once you quickly realize that location is a priority in the big city ... In Manhattan, believe me, the last thing you want is openning a window and look at the neighbor's window or worse a wall... That's why you need a good location. If you are in fashion like thousands of talented people in this city and your work is to create photos the entire city could be your stage.. whether it's a faded wall, the middle of an avenue like Park or Fifth, or a picturesque neighborhood such as WEST VILLAGE, flagging a Cab Driver or some expansive terrace that makes you feel the adrenaline of heights without being on an airplane..

La calle 42 en la gran ciudad es de las mas concurridas, entre tantas cosas, es lo mas cómodo al momento de ir a Times Square, ya que tienes unas de las centrales de subte mas concurridas y mejor conectadas en Manhattan, tiendas ... siempre tiendas ... restaurantes ... Bryant Park que siempre cobija y da un respiro de verde en el medio de rascacielos ... la hermosa librería publica de NYC ( 5ta Av 42nd St ), y claro que cruzas al este de la ciudad sin problemas.

Yo, para hacer esta editorial me quede en el lado Oeste de la Isla, exactamente en la calle 42 esquina avenida 11 , con el Rio Hudson en nuestras espaldas .. Hacer fotos aquí me encanto , este edificio tan bien situado; nos da el Empire State Building y nos da la estación de Buses de Manhattan de background.. y tanto mas ...

42nd street is one of the busiest in the big city. Times Square with it's subway hub is convenient if you want to get around Manhattan and there are shops, shops, and more shops...restaurants and Bryant Park which provides a breath of green among sky scrapers just an avenue away...another block over and you arrive at the gorgeous NY Public Library on 5th Avenue - from here you can easily get to the east side of the Island.

For this editorial we stayed on the West Side of the Island, right on 42nd and 11th Ave with the Hudson River in our back... Loved taking pictures here at this perfectly located building which provided a background with the iconic Empire state and the Port Authority Bus Depot.

Nuestra modelo del día , una hermosa española, nuestro fotógrafo con ojos alemanes y su ayudante Húngaro, nuestra maquilladora y peinadora de Polonia, la estilista ( quien les escribe , de Argentina), trabajando todos en Nueva York, Hurra Hurra la globalización !!! y que en NY esa palabra es como el café de cada mañana.

El vestuario, Negro siempre Negro, combinado con el color plata que siempre adorna la ciudad, combinando hacen el combo perfecto.

Our model for the day, a gorgeous Spaniard, our photographer with German eyes and his assistant from Hungary, our Hair & Make-up Stylist from Poland, the stylist (who is writing here, from Argentin) all working together in New York! Hooray to Globalization!!! In New York this word is like your morning coffee... Kind of a routine.

The wardrobe in this project was black...always black, combined with some silver accents and always complemented by the bright reflections of Summer in the City...
